The HOW-TO! 👇🏼
Before anyone freaks out, this buffet table was completely laminate & had no doors. It’s not my usual style painted all black - but I’m not upset at how it came out! Plus I got to save something from the landfill.

+ cleaned with Krud Kutter
+ scuff sanded the laminate until there was no more shinyness. I used 120 grit throughout with my @surfprepsanding 3x4 electric ray (FURNITUREDR10 gets you 10% off)
+ made repairs to the laminate with Bondo wood filler
+ primed with my new favorite oil based primer. I had it tinted grey since I knew I’d be painting it black!
+ once that dried, I painted it in @valspar Lincoln Cottage Black using a roller
+ made “no-hardware” sliding doors out of leftover plywood & trim I had from previous projects
+ glued, caulked & painted the doors
+ spray painted the plastic hardware it came with with @rustoleum metallic gold
What do you think?! I think this is the perfect buffet. It does also remind me of a desk. This furniture flip took me 24 hours + I’m pretty happy with how it came out. What would you price it for? 👇🏼👇🏼
