When I initially tried these jeans, I did not like the mid rise. I am used to wearing high-rise jeans from Madewell. They are known for their high-rise jeans— the ones that suck you in and have the magic pockets…. Well, After a few weeks, I ended up ordering a tall because I wanted a longer length. ( I am 5‘6“ with a 31 inch inseam) and when they came in, I tried them on and much to my surprise, not only did they fit high rise, but they sucked me in, and they were way more flattering than the standard mid-rise pair.
So if you are 5’ 4” and above, try ordering the tall for a high-rise fit.
I also sized down one size to a 27

These jeans have the softest vintage feel and they are so comfy! They come in four different washes and several different lengths.
