This was the project that I was going to take on while my husband was away skiing, until his friend blew up my spot and asked why I was selling pieces from my dining room 🤣. My goal is to sell our house and build smaller but since we can’t find property where we want I’m on round 2 of changing things over after 7.5 years in this house. I checked the rug section quickly before I made a return- super surprised that something so cute was left behind since the store has been mobbed since it’s opening. The OCD in me wants to move this clock down about 3 inches... Morning friends! I had some questions on my farmhouse sink yesterday. It’s a fire clay 33” reversible sink with a metal grate inside that can be removed- but I prefer it to be in there for protection. We’re going on 5 years with our kitchen and I’ve had no complaints. I love how large it is- you can easily fit a toddler in it. No scratches or stains have happened. They do sell kits to repair scratches. They sell it in 30”, 33” and 36”. In case anyone’s wondering, my plant babies are still in their “bassinet” getting acquainted with their siblings in the kitchen. They’ll soon be moved to the laundry room and hung to the left of the window. This room also underwent a “lightectomy” a few years back and I traded out the ugly boob light for this funky- fun one. I originally bought them as an in-between fall and winter sheet. It was too warm for flannels but too cold for regular sheets. So I searched high and low for the perfect soft sheets. Anyone who knows me knows I have a ton of blankets in my home and they’re the softest blankets you’ll ever touch. It should come as no surprise that I literally returned 2 sets of sheets that claimed to be Jersey knit and soft, and were the opposite. Maybe it’s because I have cotton-feeling issues. But I promise you, you will look forward to going to sleeping in these. You may even call in sick to work to stay in them (don’t worry coworkers and student stalkers, I’ll be at work tomorrow). Today I went to BB&B to get another set bc I’m not ever putting anything else on my bed, and they were not only on sale, I got to use my 20% coupon on top of the sale price. I got them for almost half of what I originally paid. They come in a ton of colors. I stayed up to 12:21am last night to train myself for tonight. I told myself I’d sleep in a little today and that didn’t happen. Anyone else train to stay up to make it to the ball drop? 10 years ago I was 23, and I’m pretty positive I couldn’t stay up then either 😂. I was built to sleep not to party.

My favorite part of decorating for families is when I see signs at hobby lobby that I just love- however they don’t really “fit” in my life since it’s just the two of us. I said this to Becky and her response was “well if it makes you feel any better there are some days I’d like to forget.” That really helped to put it into perspective 😂.
