I swear I do this every few months… I convince myself that the layout of this room is not right and then move my desk in front of the cabinet…

THIS time I realized that the rug was bugging me - too chunky of a look for what I want. So now I’m also on the hunt for another one. At first I thought maybe another solid and thinner rug… or maybe I need a pattern? Maybe then one of the layouts will make more sense.

These dining chairs from @risliving have been a top contender for my dining room for sooo long but they’ve always been over budget. I even looked into custom made options just to cut the cost of buying 8 chairs. But then… they went on sale before Eid!

New Year, new frames on the wall!

Not that I didn’t like what I had up before, but I love the character that these vintage saddlebags have added to my spaces 😍

I bought these beautiful vintage pieces from @troyrugstore while I was in my favorite city, #istanbul, and thought that they would be perfect for my home. I knew that I wanted them framed, and the best way to highlight the colors and textures was to have them framed in a simple natural wood with a neutral (but textured) linen on the back. I’ll show you how it looks in my stories!

For my very special framing jobs, I like to visit @arabiancollectionsgallery as they can pretty much figure out how to frame anything ☺️

I kinda love styling corners… I like using tall plants, floor lamps, a piece of furniture like this end table (or even a small cabinet), and then I always try to bring your eye up the wall with some artwork and a lamp ☺️ It’s important to give a corner some purpose!
