Ever have one of those weeks where all you can focus on is the negativity in your life? Everything frustrates you and you can’t pull yourself out of it no matter how hard you try. How often to do you pause to self-reflect and pinpoint the source? I was totally having one of those weeks and could not fight the funk no matter how hard I tried. •• When CJ naps, I have to prioritize my time. Should I shower? Eat? Answer E-mails? Write a blog? There never seems like enough time in the day, BUT, if I peeled back the layers, my workouts are often the thing to get put on the back burner because everything else takes priority. •• Welp, yesterday we had a family outing to the gym where I got my A** handed to me. I had enough endorphins coursing through my body to fuel an army. I left feeling happy, strong, empowered and “reset”, Exercise is my therapy. It is my North.
