Honestly I’m pretty worn out on the DIY projects, but when I’m able to make something special like this for my daughter I’m grateful I have the skills and supplies to do this with relatively minimal disturbance to my life. 🤪 Although it did take some coordination and help from my dad, mom, and ex-husband to get the bed here, finished, and brought upstairs! 🙏

I’m still working on Otto’s bedroom but for now I found him the cutest sheets and am playing with lots of blues in here. I’m a white sheet person but for a little boys room that just didn’t feel right. This blue and white gingham is so cute! The duvet cover has a little wave pattern. Both are from @petiteplume, they have a couple of new bedding patterns just out recently too.
I am still tickled about some of these other unique pieces in Otto’s room too! And I’m thinking of replacing those baskets with a dresser, what do you think?

The one time of year we put our children’s toys out on display. It’s just ironic that this wrapping paper is so nice and the things inside it are so hot pink plastic! I appreciate the lovely disguising wrapping paper and yet this is also the most special holiday I have had with my kids and I’m so grateful to have these special people to give these obnoxious gifts to.❤️

This is seriously the greatest thing ever this time of year. @postable has a ton of cute cards and other customizable gifts and they mail them to your address book for you! I’m so grateful to avoid the stress of the addressing and stamping, and just get to get the happy texts from friends and family who’ve received our card. Their prices are great and they ship fast.

I’m still figuring out how much I want to go Nancy Meyers neutral in my home versus bring that romantic English inspired vintage charm. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I like this! Is it me or is it weird that there are trendy new stockings to buy every year? There are some very cute ones. But I thought having the same stocking every year was special to kids? Maybe the cute ones are just decorative. Maybe you just get new ones every few years, so only a couple times in their childhood. Maybe other people don’t care about this? What are stocking traditions like in your house?
