I’ve been buying things for our basement bathroom! It’s exciting to be creating it fully from scratch, but it won’t have a window, so I’m not sure how optimistic I should be about how beautiful or design-ey I can make it. I shared some questions I’m having about the tile in my stories last night, go vote! One thing I have already picked out is the pedestal sink. I want to do a skirted one but I also want something more historic feeling than the sort of traditional Kohler Home Depot one we did in our upstairs bathroom. I just bought one on Facebook Marketplace! I wish I had looked there for this upstairs bath reno, I found a lot of more classic ones that feel more appropriate for our house than the ones I can afford new. The goal for the basement bathroom is some thing that feels classic/a little retro like our house, not like a contractor just drywalled it in in 2022. Wish me luck. LTKhome
