Casa cenote was by far our favorite & totally worth an afternoon trip. We got there just before 4pm and ended up being the only two people swimming through the cenote. It’s 250km in a horseshoe shape and there’s so much wildlife to see above and below the water. Don’t forget your snorkel, flippers & goggles! You’re not supposed to wear sunscreen in the cenotes because the chemicals can negatively affect the delicate ecosystems here, so that’s another reason why late afternoon was such a great time to go. p.s.
