Making my flower art focaccia 💐 🥖INGREDIENTS🥖 Dough: * 350g organic bread flour * 7g instant yeast * 2 tsp fine sea salt * 2 tbsp olive oil * 250ml lukewarm water Toppings: * Tomatoes * Fresh basil * Chopped olives * 1 tbsp Olive oil * Sea salt flakes 🥖METHOD🥖 * Tip the flour into a large mixing bowl. Mix the yeast into one side of the flour, and the fine salt into the other side. Then mix everything together. * Make a well in the middle of the flour and add the olive oil and lukewarm water. Add gradually until you have a slightly sticky dough. * Sprinkle the work surface with flour and tip the dough onto it. Knead for 5 - 10 minutes, until your dough is soft and less sticky. Put the dough into a clean bowl, cover with a damp tea towel or cling-film and leave to prove for 1 hour, or until doubled in size. * Oil a rectangle tin (approximately 20 × 25 cm). Carefully tease the dough out of the bowl and into the tin, then gently stretch it to fill the tin. * Using your fresh tomatoes, chopped olives and basil, create a flower pattern by gently pressing them into the dough. * Cover with cling-film or a damp tea towel and leave to prove for another 35 - 45 minutes. * Heat oven to 220° C/ 200° C fan/ gas and bake for 20 minutes until golden. * Whilst the bread is still hot, drizzle over 1 tbsp olive oil and sprinkle over flaked sea salt.
