🚶🏾♀️BENEFITS TO WALKING WITH A WEIGHTED VEST🚶🏾♀️I’ve been walking with a weighted vest for the past month and these are some of the improvements I’ve seen⬇️ 1️⃣Better Posture- The weight of the vest forces you to walk more upright and in a neutral spine position, giving you much better posture. I tend to hunch my shoulders forward, and so this has been really help correct my posture. 2️⃣Increased Calorie Burn- I burn more calories while walking with a weighted vest, which has in turn helped accelerate my weight loss. I wear a 20 pound vest, but I’m thinking about increasing it to 30 pounds next month. (The recommendation is 5-20% of your body weight) 3️⃣Increased Core Strength- My core is getting so much stronger now that I’m wearing my weighted vest. Since it works to stabilize my body naturally while wearing the vest walking, I notice when I’m completing other tasks where my core would need to activate it just does.
