This over the door shoe organizer works very well if you mount it on a wall. In this child’s closet, we made great use of an odd angle by installing this directly into the wall. She now has plenty of space to organize her shoes and this angle and available space is no longer just sitting there wasted.

If you didn't notice already, I've been on one lately about the cords in our house. Cords are so annoying! But what's even worse are outlets that are out of reach behind furniture. I mean, come on!

I have great news! You can easily solve this issue WITHOUT TOOLS by using this awesome adhesive outlet extender.

In my home office I have a few things that need an easily accessible outlet, but three outlets along this wall are behind my long work surface. Getting to them is a real PITA. I added one adhesive outlet extender and now not only do I have two easy to reach outlets, but there's also two USB ports AND a built-in shelf! Great for resting your phone on, if needed.

So excited to have found this product! Useful in many other areas around my house and I hope you can benefit too!

Had the most incredible experience last night! I was invited to attend a wine pairing dinner at an iconic private club in San Francisco. It’s called the pacific union club and the wine was focused on pinots from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. It was such an incredible experience – and what I sort of loved the most is that the club does not allow cell phones to be used. It was awesome to see people focused on the wine and the dinner and the company.

I did not care that it was 55°, Foggy and windy in my city – I still had to wear this beautiful bodysuit! I love it, and it’s definitely a statement in the back! It’s from free people, and I’ve owned it for a long time. But you can find it at Poshmark, which is linked here!

Last week when I organized my bedside table cords, I also wrangled the situation near my bedroom TV.

On this buffet I have a Sonos speaker and my 3-in-1 charger, but there's also a cord for the TV and the charging cord for my Theragun. Previously I had them plugged into a long power strip sitting ON the buffet - not a pretty sight! Now, I have a smaller power strip that hangs out of eyesight, yet still easy to plug in and unplug cords. As opposed to fishing them out from behind the buffet.

This little organizing hack takes just a few minutes to set up and brings so much zen!!

I originally installed this closet back in August 2021, when she was a baby. Now she's a taller, beautiful princess with lots of dresses - so in May of 2024 I returned to edit the space. Using all the same Elfa components, I updated the space plan and just like that we're back to being organized.
