PROJECT REVEAL: Rachel's Bedroom Reveal ✨ I've designed hundreds of primary bedrooms in my career as an interior designer, but the inspiration for my own came from a recent trip to Mexico. These stunning oversized rattan pendants were the start. The texture and the way the light filters through the material spoke to me—it’s the perfect blend of natural, organic beauty. 🌿 We kept existing white nightstands we already had, and as a rule of thumb, when you have white in a space, it’s essential to balance its starkness with natural materials like wood. That’s where the warmth of the rattan comes in, along with the layered wood tray and the soft fabric bed. Normally, we'd go with wood nightstands, but to keep things unique, we added a gorgeous wood bench at the foot of the bed. We saved on the nightstands, which allowed us to splurge on the statement piece. And that bench is certainly a statement! The goal was to create a feeling of calm--- a serene environment as every bedroom should be. The soothing tones of a muted blue, cream, and beige give the room a restful vibe. And of course, adding the fireplace and perfect paint color—SW Sanctuary—tied everything together for that peaceful, relaxing retreat. LTKHome LTKSaleAlert LTKStyleTip
