One of my fav things to do when wintering in Scottsdale is go to the gateway trails - so gorgeous with easy to walk trails

After gateway trails, we always love to eat at The Thumb which is a gas station believe it or not, with an amazing menu and gigantic curated gift shop that I can spend hours in! Ordered the brisket salad and it was delish!!
*oh and maybe the best part is their music selection that’s piped outside as well - my favorites were playing like Dave Matthews and Blues Traveler - I was so in the zone - one of my all time favorite pit stops in Scottsdale!!!

If you get a chance while staying in Scottsdale, check out “old town” Gilbert (I call it old town because it’s the sweetest little town with all the best popular restaurants that are also in Scottsdale but so quaint and kid friendly too! We love to eat here and so do the grands♥️
