It's Christmas time ... at least at our house it is. The Entry in our Queen Anne Victorian is extra cozy this time of year. We have been using this faux Christmas tree for a couple years now and it's been a great fit for the small space. We added layers of greenery, bell garland, candles and reindeer to decorate the mantle. Now, we love walking through this space, or stopping to sit by the fire.

Making this long living room feel cozy and intimate was our goal in redesigning this space. Adding a sectional, accent chairs, a big coffee table and area rug made this area into a distinct zone within the bigger room. We loved curating pieces both new and old to create an interesting and eclectic feel.

Pinch us, are we dreaming?! This attic office project has been a long time coming and we genuinely could not be more excited. There was something different about this one, it didn’t happen over night, it wasn’t instant gratification, but instead months and months of planning and lots of work. We were interrupted by normal life stuff like permitting, and not so normal things like filming a tv show. But now, a year(!?) later, it’s complete.⠀

When we sit back and look at what we have created, the feeling is pure awe - is this really our house? A feeling that will wane over the coming months (the way any project becomes another regular space in your life), but for now we are going to hold onto this feeling for as long as we can.
