Dyson vs Shark. I have wanted one of these for years and could never decide if I wanted to save or splurge. They are honestly both a splurge but you do save a ton by going with the shark. The Dyson Airwrap is $599 and the Shark Flexstyle is $249. I have been using both for the past few weeks and here are my thoughts. After the curls fall out for an hour or two they look almost identical. When I am curling the shark curls look slightly tighter to me. They both seem to curl and pick up the hair the same way. There are other attachments but I am focusing on the curling wand. The only attachment that I would say is really nice that the Dyson has and the shark does not is flyaway smoothing one. I do like that the Dyson only has one curling wand and you change the direction of the curls with a button. The shark you have two wands and you need to change them out to change the direction of the curl. It is fast and easy to change out the attachments so not worth the extra price of the Dyson in my opinion. I heard that the Dyson was better for your hair but when I looked up the heat for both it is the same so I am not sure if that is true but it doesn’t make sense to me if both go to the same heat. I do also like the placement of the buttons on the Dyson compared to the Shark. It is easier to hit the cold shot and turn the machine on and off while curling but again not worth the price to me. Overall you can get the same bouncy blow out look with the curling wand on the Shark as you can with the Dyson and save so much money!! I say SAVE on this! LTKSaleAlert LTKStyleTip LTKBeauty
