Thank you to @suzyapprovedbooktours for my copy of Sister Stardust. @janegreenauthor has hit it out of this park with this interpretation of Talitha Getty’s life. My only complaint is that you don’t get to meet Talitha right away. In the swinging 1960’s Claire (who later becomes Cece) comes to London from a small rural town where she meets American model and wife to the heir of the Getty fortune Talitha Getty. Cece is immediately enamored by Talitha. Soon then jet off to Marrakesh. Unfortunately, Talitha’sife is centered around everything you would anticipate of the ‘60’s; sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Overall I enjoyed this very quick read. I’m definitely encouraged to learn more about Talitha. The Gettys at large are wildly interesting at this time and loved this glimpse at a small player in that story. LTKSeasonal LTKunder50
