Second, I’ve been thinking about what I’m sharing now for a LONG time. This has been, without question, one of the most challenging seasons in my life (aside from saying see you later to my incredible parents). I’ve mentioned commuting to work, briefly, but I haven’t shared the details for LOTS of reasons. But, I commute to work. I leave on Mondays and return on Thursdays. To say that being away from the Tobster four days a week is a challenge is an understatement. He’s my person. He’s my best friend. BUT, I love my job. Life is simultaneously beautiful, challenging, and complex. I think that I’ve made the commute look so seamless that folks haven’t noticed how challenging it’s been. So, I’m writing all of this to say remember to check on the folks who’ve consistently checked on you. And, also remember to shed grace.
