You name it, this one has it—dramatic people making terrible decisions, sociopaths, lies, blackmail, secrets, people from the past, and a diabolical gold digger. Was it ridiculous at times? Yes! Was it entertaining? Very! I finished it in under 24 hours because I couldn’t wait to find out what happened. By the time I got to the 85% mark, I didn’t stop until I was finished. I do wish the ending didn’t leave us wondering who did what, but I suppose that’s the allure of it. Even with it being somewhat “open-ended,” it was done really well. If you enjoy a domestic thriller, check this one out! 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙩 (𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦): I did correctly guess one of the twists, but another one shocked me so much that I gasped out loud. 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠: The book is written entirely in third person and the audiobook is read by one narrator. The narrator was fantastic and kept me engaged.
