When it finally was ready to be checked out, I was nervous to start it because I was afraid I had built it up so much in my mind that I would be disappointed. I WASN’T DISAPPOINTED AT ALL! “Tell No One” is one of my favorite books of 2024. It is my first Coben novel and makes me want to check out his entire backlog. I was HOOKED from the start and had a hard time putting it down. The plot is fast paced with secrets being revealed at every turn. This novel had some standout characters that I really loved that brought something extra to the storyline. I don’t want to say who they are because I don’t want to spoil anything. This is the perfect novel for someone looking to get into the thriller genre or the seasoned reader that needs to get out of a slump. 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙩 (𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦): I couldn’t give the twists a full 5-star rating just because I guessed the biggest one. There were a few others I guessed but a couple that I didn’t. Even if I had guessed all of them, I would’ve still enjoyed the ride. 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠: The thing about “Tell No One” is that there are some chapters told in third person and others told in first person from our MC. I don’t always love that switch up. I can deal with it better when there are different narrators for the first person and third person parts. That wasn’t the case here. The narrator did a fine job, but there was a missed opportunity for a better production.
