It’s been a while since I’ve shared my dining room. There are a few things in this space I am often asked about and the top question is paint color! The room is painted Naval by Sherwin Williams and it has been this color for over 7 years now! I have never regretted painting it this deep dark navy one single bit. In fact, I am considering having all of the white wainscoting and crown molding painted the same color for a super dramatic effect! All of my furniture in here came from local furniture stores, and most of the decor, like the small oval mirror and the Italian gilt bow shelves are vintage finds. I love love hunting for unique treasures for our home, and I’ve slowly added vintage pieces into this room for the past several years. Instagram tends to make people feel pressure for rooms to be instantly decorated and picture perfect, but in my opinion, design is never done and there is nothing wrong with taking your time and being patient until you find pieces that you will love for years to come!
