- We do not hard wire wall sconces in this house (& my husband is an electrician)! We use remote controlled, rechargeable light bulbs! Depending on the weight of your sconce, you can also use command photo hanging strips to hang the sconce for a totally renter friendly project! - I wanted to let the natural light in but still have privacy so I used decorative window film! No adhesive, they are installed by static so you just spray with water & adhere! Ours have been up for 3 years & come in tons of styles & colors, I linked 10+ varieties! - Frame TV not in your budget? Mine either! So I used a $3 roll of decorative tape & searched “framed image” on the YouTube app! The “frame” you see is all the YouTube image! We only leave our TV on like this when we are hosting a party or just for fun a few hours at a time. We don’t leave it on 24/7 so no, it won’t burn the image into your tv (& you can also search for a slide show version if you want to leave it on longer so the images change out)!
