We Like it Sparkly…

About 5 years ago I gave up soda.
I switched to water, but I do like it sparkly.

Drinking more water was great but there were plastic water/seltzer bottles everywhere!
I decided to take it one step further and make sparkling water at home.

I found the Sodastream One Touch Electric Sparkling Water Maker @walmart and it’s AWESOME!! It’s so easy to use and making it fresh tastes so much better! And you can add your own flavors, too! (Sold separately!)

Since the lemons on my tree are ready to pick we used those!

(I loved it so much I ended up getting two machines🤭! I added one to our laundry room/summer bar station so we can enjoy it there on the “beach” side of the house in the summer months!)

And keeping our sparkling water cool was easy during this weekend’s Nor’Easter!😁 SWIPE!

Glamping, Inside…

When you’re in a pinch, having lots of company with only one guest room, you have to be creative. #sponsored

I wanted to make all of our guests feel like they each have a special spot this holiday! Our summer Glamping party was such a hit I decided, by using a nook in my office, we could try indoor glamping!

I started with the basics @walmart: I used one of the inflatable air mattresses from our summer party. Then, layered with great, comfortable, 100% organic cotton sheets, cotton comforter and shams from #GapHome (exclusively at Walmart) adding that warmth and cozy softness. These timeless pieces work easily from season to season, and I’m so happy we have these great staples- they wash beautifully and are so practical!

Next, on the bed, a 100% wool camp blanket, another great basic from #WalmartHome ! Finishing it all with a vintage grainsack pillow (that actually has the initials of our guest!) added a perfect personal touch!

Layering rugs grounded the bed to the space, and using a bold stripe (also from #GapHome @Walmart ) gave the nook fresh personality.

Using the windows as a backdrop to emphasize the coziness of the nook, I found two matching throws in my Vermont storage, and they worked perfectly for makeshift curtains. The old shutters were in my basement from Christmas last year.

I added simple paper shades to the windows for privacy but added a band of 4” ribbon at the top to make them feel finished.

The final detail, we suspended a large branch of Bayberry from the beach with twinkle lights over the bed adding a rustic finishing touch!
We are ready for Thanksgiving guests!
