8.5 miles & this body is TIRED…but she’s also strong, capable, & motivated to keep pushing. As a new runner, I’m still getting used to the mental game that comes with running. I’ve had to cut back on my lifting to be able to devote more time to running & what it takes to prep for the 13.1 miles to come. Some days I’m frustrated my body isn’t faster, but I have to remember it’s never been here before.
