The Double Stacked Hat Bun 💁‍♀️

Pull your hair through the opening of a baseball cap and secure it with a soft, stretchy hair tie. On the final wrap, open the hair tie wide and insert your hand through the opening. Drive your hand down under the ponytail through the hair tie so that it’s now wrapped around your wrist. Pull your hand and hair tie back to create space for your hand to go up through the opening in between your thumb and the hair tie. Once your hand is through the opening, wrap your hand around the base of the ponytail. Using your other hand, pull the section of hair tie currently resting on your thumb up and over the base of the hair tie. Gently pull the bun to expand for a cute, double-stacked messy bun!

Start by gathering your hair into a high ponytail. Create a mini loop by pulling the hair tie over the ponytail, but don’t pull all the hair through. Place your hand inside the elastic as you swoop the hand under the ponytail. Now, guide your hand clockwise, gathering the ponytail onto the elastic as you twist once. Once the twist is secure, pull the elastic, now wrapped with hair, back over the mini loop you formed earlier. Adjust and gently tug at the bun to shape.

Wrap the ponytail around your index, middle, and ring fingers.

Twist your hand clockwise, pulling it up and above the base of the ponytail as you complete a full rotation.

Carefully slide your fingers out of the loop while keeping the space open. Push the base of the ponytail through the loop as you pull it down.

Here’s a fun bun using a three-prong claw clip!

Gather your hair into a low ponytail.

With your other hand, open the claw clip as wide as possible.

Place the claw clip on top of your ponytail.

Wrap the ponytail over the claw clip, then place it inside the open teeth while twisting the clip toward your scalp.

Squeeze to secure.

Grab the remaining tail with your other hand, open the claw clip, and place the ponytail inside.

Continue wrapping the ponytail around to the other side, then open the claw clip once more and tuck the ends inside and under the bun.

Start by pulling your hair into a ponytail and securing it with a hair tie.

Fold the ponytail toward the hair tie to create a mini loop.

Take a small butterfly clip and insert it over the outside of the loop, slightly under the hair tie.

Wrap the remaining hair around the loop.

Open the mouth of the butterfly clip, tuck the ends of the hair inside, and then close the clip to secure.

Tuck any excess hair as needed.
