3 tips for easier beach days (from someone who goes often!)

🛍️Pack items in separate bags as much as possible. Trust me, when your kids are hungry and come for the beach bag with their sandy hands, it’s nice to be able to contain them to the snack bag as opposed to having them rummage through everything.

☀️Get yourself a @shibumishade! This thing is incredible. It is super lightweight (under 4 lbs!), works WITH the wind, and is so easy to set up! I can do it in around 3 minutes. Shibumi just came out with their new Quiet Canopy!! This features a new fabric with added stretch which makes it much quieter in high winds. You might be asking ‘What happens if there’s no wind?’ You’re going to have enough breeze at the beach 90% of the time, but in those off moments, they make a super handy attachment called the Wind Assist that you can clip to the back corners to keep things flowing. (Ps- I have a discount code!! - ‘NaptimeKitchen10’).

🏖️Throw some baby powder in a sock for a super quick way to get dry sand off your skin before you leave! I store the sock in a ziplock and use it all summer long!
