I REFUSED to do the “doormat on top of a rug” thing for YEARS, because it seemed like EVERYONE was doing the exact same thing. It also felt super farmhous-y to me. But then it finally hit me that the the patterns used make allllll the difference. So I chose mismatched eclectic patterns, opted for a hanging basket instead of a wreath, chose antique-style pottery and I couldn’t be happier with the aesthetic of this porch decor!

I finally made the investment and purchased the most realistic faux flowers I’ve ever seen 😍 They literally even FEEL real!

Our cat LOVES to jump up on the table and nibble at the fresh flowers. Unfortunately, even though Brian and I are SUPER careful about not having flowers that are toxic to cats, this always results in him getting sick (out of both ends yaayyyyy) for DAYS. Having faux flowers gives me the peace of mind that our little guy and our furniture are both safe 🥹🩷 Plus, it’ll save me money in the long run! Fresh flowers add up $$$!
