Pottery barn curtains đ I have these white linen curtains in a few places in my home. They get along with their surroundings & the fabric is so pretty! I love the organic/natural look of linen. I went with the âcotton liningâ curtain , instead of a blackout curtain. You canât see through it, but itâs light filtering. Which was important to me. They still give you the privacy factor without losing natural light during the day. Things to remember: đđź - One 50 inch wide panel requires 9 rings. If youâre buying 4 panels, youâll need 36 rings. (Rings pictured above). -The hooks that the rings hook onto are included with your curtain panel. - Take out your measuring tape and measure before you buy. The curtains come in different lengths and widths. You might not find a perfect length. Youâll have to get them hemmed. - Itâs always better to go longer than shorter. Flooded curtains are not cute! Haha -There are two different widths. 50 inches wide & 100 inches wide. In MOST cases, the 50 inches wide panel is best. The 100 inches wide panel is huge. Almost too huge. -Two 50 inch wide panels on each side, verses one 100 inch side, create a different look. -I would personally do four 50 inch wide panels instead of two 100 inch wide panels. - The rod and hooks that I linked are considered an âantique bronzeâ, but they donât look bronze at all. Definitely more black. -You can pick any end cap you want. When you purchase the rod, youâre just getting the pole and brackets that attach to the wall. - The curtain rod comes in many different lengths. Remember that youâre going to want to stretch the rod out a bit, if you can. Taking the rod past the window will give the illusion of a larger window. When measuring, be sure to consider those extra inches. - When hanging your curtain rod, youâre going to want to hang it closer to the ceiling. This gives the illusion of taller ceilings, which makes things look grand. Figure out where youâll want the rod, then measure from there to the ground. Youâll have a better idea on what curtain length to get. đ¤ LTKSeasonal LTKstyletip LTKhome
