I actually never talk about clothes with friends. Fashion will always be my easiest form of self-expression but is actually NOT what I talk about 90% of the time.
What we usually talk about?
• realizing how great it feels to realize that actually no one has all the answers and we’re all just out here doing our best - guess we had to get through our 20s to figure that one out
• it’s ok to complain and vent, but when we encourage each other to get out of that spiral and move through it, that’s where the magic happens
• some of the happiest people are probably people who are aren’t living life afraid of cringe
• whether we are single or married with kids, we can still learn from each others experiences and perspectives - why does this feel impossible in your 20s? I was like we thought oh guess that person doesn’t get me anymore and we would feel too different from friends in different phases. The reality is, one of my friends who has 4 kids might be one of the ones who I can chat about dating and singleness the most.
