𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐩𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 4 out of 5 Stars 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐞: Mystery, Suspense, Contemporary Fiction 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡: 359 Pages Darling Girls is a domestic suspense about a maniacal foster mother, three sisters’ strong bond, a discovered body, and a return to the past whether the main characters like it or not. This book will have you wondering: Does the past ever truly stay buried? If you want to read a book about three badass women who face not only their past but their current problems and are bonded even more because of it, this book is for you. Hepworth tells the story by switching between the three sister’s POVs and switching between past and present with notes from a psychiatrist. I absolutely loved the way she did this because it really helped with character develop development and allows the reader to connect with each character even more. Darling Girls is a much slower- paced thriller than what I’m used to reading (someone called it “a slow burn suspense”), but the twist at the end make the slower pace worth it in my opinion. This was my first book by Sally Hepworth, and I cannot wait to pick up another one! 🏷️ WhatMCReads sallyhepworth darlinggirls StMartinsPress goodbooks thrillerbooks thrillerbookrecs thrillerbookreview tbr thrillersuspense suspense goodreads TBRList BookReview LTKHome LTKVideo LTKFindsUnder50
