This two-sided fireplace was one of the harder projects we’ve done. Not because of the labor (which, I admit, we hired out), but because it took a lot of time and thought to figure out what would work best for the space and for our family. We waited two years after we moved in before we tackled the project, giving us plenty of time to make well-informed decisions. If we had done it right away, I’m sure we would have done something different... and it wouldn’t have been as “right” for us. While it’s super fun to fix up a place before you move it, I’m thankful for the projects that happen after because of the intentionality that can go into them. Do you have any projects like that? . . http://liketk.it/2Azgh liketkit @liketoknow.it maisondepax fixerupper fireplace mantel
