These are the three pairs of boots I have on rotation every winter. I’m not going to tell you that any of these styles are essential. While I think *some* sort of boot is a must for those that live in colder climates, what this looks like for you will depend on your lifestyle, taste, comfort etc. Though, if you’re wanting to maximize versatility, the things to look out for are… 1 | a silhouette that is both work appropriate but also feels approachable enough that you’re happy to wear them on your days off 2 | a versatile colour; neutrals generally give you the most bag for your buck, and that doesn’t mean it has to be a “classic” black boot 👀 3 | comfort… if they have a heel, could you be stood in them for hours without reprieve?
