What is the key to styling a bed? Layers and patterns! One of the hardest things in design is layering and mixing patterns but it can really take your space to the next level. When layering blankets I keep with a neutral pallet but look for a solid texture, a stripe, and thicker solid, and a chunky knit. Patterns can be tricky. It’s all about trial and error. I tend to mix larger patterns, smaller patterns, linear patterns, and a solid. I try to stick with a neutral pallet and add small pops of color. I tend to put pillows together and try it and might need to mix things up!
