These are the two garlands I will be mixing and I MAY add a silver garland but that’s TBD. The floppy one is a faux cedar that I’ve been collecting over 3 years. I get it when it goes on sale at Anthro. It’s not full and needs to be layered if used for a mantle. I’m doing an assymetrical drape off of one side so I will be using 2 of the 9ft. strands and 2 of the 6ft. strands. If you are not doing a drape and want your garland straight across a standard mantle, I suggest 2 of the 6ft. strands mixed with another type garland. I’ll be mixing the floppy cedar with 2 of the mixed pine garlands If I were not having overhang, I’d just use one strand of the 6ft.
