I couldn’t find my large flower brooch so I went with the shoulder leopard brooch. When I buy something new regardless of it being secondhand I often try to get rid of something in my wardrobe to maintain balance if the new piece is filling the spot if an older piece. (Note: I don’t do this if it’s a piece bought to fill a wardrobe hole). This new blazer/jacket is taking the place of an older Zara check blazer I used to wear often. The older one doesn’t fit the way that I like my blazers to fit now so I never reach for it. It’s okay for your style to evolve or your size to change, and it’s okay to let go of pieces that no longer make you feel your best. Sell or donate them to someone who will appreciate them again. • .
