This step is optional but highly recommended! In a sauce pan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Once dissolved, remove from heat and add in cranberries. Let cranberries soak for 10 minutes. Drain simple syrup but make sure to reserve for margaritas. Let the cranberries dry and roll in sugar. In a clear glass ornament, add the below ingredients (my ornament was about 4oz).
