I bought some thrifted bras candle sticks year ago and finally found a product to hold the candles in place so they don’t fall over! 🙌🏻 I’m SO excited to get to actually use my candlesticks! I’m going to try them on my flameless tapers. I love how cozy candles can make a space feel! I’m also loving this spruce candle from Target! It smells amazing!

This Advent season, I’m reading Come Let Us Adore Him by Paul David Tripp! Advent comes from the Latin word “adventus” which means “coming” or “arrival.” This year, Advent begins Sunday, December 1st and concludes Tuesday, December 24th. It’s a time to remember the first coming of Christ while longing for His second. I’m excited for this book to help me keep my eyes fixed on Jesus during my favorite season!

I’m loving my new iridescent essential oil diffuser from Target’s Threshold line! I’m currently diffusing Thymes Frasier Fire essential oil and it smells amazing! My house smells like a Christmas tree and I’m here for the cozy holiday vibes! I love that the diffuser light can change colors and that it automatically shuts off when it runs out. I love how aesthetically pleasing it is too. I have 3 kids so having the top made out of plastic rather than glass is a huge plus for me!

📖 Today’s Resource Recommendation is Consider Your Counsel written by Bob Kelleman.

With years of experience as a biblical counselor and instructor of other biblical counselors, Bob Kelleman presents 10 common mistakes he’s observed counselors, including himself, make.

To me, this book is basically a discipleship primer. It is packed full of biblical wisdom and Bob’s approach to people is so gentle, gracious, and compassionate. At the same time, he doesn’t shy away from the importance of addressing sin and doing so in a way that coveys the care and character of Christ.

I’ve learned so many helpful Spirit filled practices from this book. It is one I will be reading again and I highly, highly recommend it.

🔊 We also love this Bluetooth speaker! I bought it for about $15 for listening to Scripture, sermons, and podcasts because my phone speaker isn’t quite loud enough. This speaker is great because it includes a port for headphones!

📖 So many children’s audiobooks are available free from your local library on Libby and Hoopla and there are some great kids’ playlists on Spotify including Disney and Peppa Pig stories. If your child isn’t ready for a Yoto yet, this speaker may be a great option!

📖 The Magic Tree House book is for my oldest along with the All Around the World book because she’s very interested in geography. Some of these books we had never read before including Farmhouse and Dad: The Man, The Myth, The Legend both of which moved me to tears.
