Went to a hair class today 🙆🏻‍♀️ needed that more than I care to admit but also I’m on like week 3 of actually getting ready for my days and I do think it’s changing something in me. 💖

If you’ve been crawling in and out of holes for a little bit or a lot of bit.. keep going because when one part of you starts to heal it feels SO good. Mine? I’ll brag and tell you- I feel like I can talk to strangers again without putting up extreme walls… which means- bubbly little happy Lauren comes out way more right now 💖

Distance sometimes helps. Cutting people off sometimes helps. Finding new hobbies sometimes helps. Realizing that it doesn’t matter what anyone says about you because you were perfectly made- definitely helps. KEEP GOING 💖💖

I’ve had a super rough week- one of the worst I’ve had in a long time honestly.. but I’m here to give you hope. Because I’m not where I WAS. I’ve went back and forth about posting something because it’s just been a go off and on this year 😅 and I’ve typed and deleted so many times… but I’m just gonna spew it and probably not flawlessly.

I think it’s super important people talk about mental health because it’s important you try and stay just one more day. I know how ugly and hard those thoughts can get but DO NOT let the devil win friends. I saw something the other day that said “just stay one more day” and I think small steps are how you climb mountains, so do that. Take one step. The mountains will start to feel like hills.

If you need help it is OKAY to seek help. And please do. God put you here for a reason and even if you can’t see the point of it all one day I pray you will someday.
