MOM HACK: toddler playtime at the beach Taking little ones to the beach can be a little stressful - especially if they don’t know how to swim or if you’re bringing multiple kids. A few years ago we started packing toys for our youngest in a plastic tub so we could set up a play area a little farther away from the ocean. This way we are able to watch our older kids if they are in the water, and play with our little ones too. Of course everyone still gets to go swim, and jump the waves. This is just one set up we have for some of our time at the beach to make it more manageable for mom and dad.
