MOM HACK: the morning speed clean

This simple hack to my morning routine has helped me so much with staying on top of household cleaning. It’s not a deep clean but definitely helps maintain a “status quo”.

I set a timer for anywhere from 20-60 minutes and clean as much as I can until the timer goes off.

Thought I’d share in case this is helpful for any of yall!

EASY + AFFORDABLE FAMILY DINNER: frito taco pie

RECIPE:
2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup taco seasoning
2 cans fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 can corn (drained)
1 can black beans (rinsed)
1 bottle catalina dressing
fritos
topping: shredded cheese, sour cream, chives, etc

Using the saute setting on the instant pot, brown ground beef with taco seasoning. Once browned add in tomatoes, corn, beans, and catalina dressing. Pressure cook for 10 minutes. Serve with fritos and desired toppings

#ad This baked ravioli is always a hit with our entire family. The secret ingredient is the @raoshomemade sauce. I used the tomato basil one and it is so delicious - made with high-quality, wholesome ingredients including tomatoes, olive oil, onions, garlic, basil, and oregano

Ingredients:

1 jar Raos Tomato Basil Sauce from @target
1 lb Italian sausage
2 20 oz packages refrigerated ravioli
8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Add Italian sausage to large skillet and brown. Spread 3/4 cup of Raos tomato basil pasta sauce on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish and add the rest to the skillet with the meat. Arrange one package of ravioli on bottom of casserole dish and top with half of the meat sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese. Top with remaining ravioli, then meat sauce, and then the remaining cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove foil and broil at 450 for 1-2 minutes to brown top slightly.

Our kids typically prep their clothes burritos on Saturday or Sunday afternoon so it’s ready to go Monday morning.
