We had a friend stay over this weekend. I made dinner Sunday night which included this free form cherry pie. It was so good! I tasted a bite off my husband’s plate. The whole pie got eaten which made me so happy. I used canned pie filling and I added Bonne Mamam cherry preserves and a sprinkling of cinnamon. I just did a free form edge on the bottom crust and used my leaf shape pie crust cutters and gold sugar to create a spectacular visual! This is Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust. It brush a little melted butter on the edges of the crust prior to adding the sugar. Next I want to make this with apple filling!
