Kicking off 2025 with a simple, cozy DIY that’s full of charm and perfect for a country cottage home! Using a rolling pin, a little mod podge, and some antique-inspired printed art, I created a vintage-style piece that reminds me of an old handwritten recipe passed down through the years. To give it that rustic, aged look, I carefully burned the edges of the paper with a lighter (you have to work fast to blow out the flame!). Then, I used mod podge to attach the paper to the rolling pin, smoothing it out gently before letting it dry. The whole process took just about 10 minutes (drying time not included), and now I have a sweet little piece that can be styled beautifully from season to season. What do you think? Would you try it? Let me know below, save this idea for a cozy craft day, and comment ‘rolling pin’ if you’d like me to send you a link to the antique-inspired art I used! LTKSeasonal LTKHome LTKFindsUnder50
