Christmas Mantel in progress ⚠️

Still need more twinkle lights, a second layer of garlands & a larger artwork piece .

I used my NorFolk Pine garland & twisted it around this new Cedar garland I got at Walmart. I secure them to the mantel with Commend straps. I use Command Hooks hung backwards to hang the stockings.

Make your home smell like so good with this simmer pot recipe. Fragrant aromas of rosemary, vanilla and orange 🍊 combine for a delightfully inviting scent & best of all - it's NON•TOXIC!
3 sprigs of rosemary
1 orange, cut into slices
1/2 cup cranberries (fresh is best)
1 TSP vanilla extract
1 TSP cloves
3 cups water

Boil 3 cups water on stove. I love to use my glass simmer pot.
Add the ingredients.
Simmer over low heat. Continue to simmer, uncovered, for up to 2 hours. Top off with water as needed.

Gingerbread House Hack!

Use white hot glue to assemble gingerbread houses so they don’t fall apart! I do this each year and it’s so much simpler than trying to frost the pieces together.

Hot glue guns come in 2 sizes. Before buying the glue sticks please verify which size you need - mini or full size. I’ve linked both.

Christmas Caprese Salad

Preheat oven to 350° & use this tree mold to make mozzarella trees. Simply press a pearl mozzarella ball into the each tree well. Bake 6-8 minutes in a 350° oven. Cool and pop out of mold.

Add sliced grape tomatoes, fresh basil, mozzarella trees in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil & balsamic dressing.
