I almost let this moment pass me by. I was tired. Work was hectic. I even canceled our Spring Break trip. But a couple days later, I felt the nudge: Go anyway. Make the moment. So I called off work, loaded up the car, and road-tripped it with my girls to San Diego for Easter weekend. We crafted with Nana, shopped, laughed, and spent a little time soaking up the sun in Mission Bay. It wasn’t a long trip—but it was exactly what we needed. And I’m so glad I didn’t let exhaustion or obligation talk me out of it. Sometimes, you have to create space for the magic—even when it feels inconvenient. PS: I know I’ve been a little quiet on IG.
