If you would have asked me 5 years ago if I liked gardening, I would have laughed so hard and blurted out a big “No!” And TBH … I don’t know when the switch even happened! My husband said to me early this spring, “you sure do like working with your hands in the dirt, don’t you?” (And he said it rather snnarkily as I asked him to help me dig a couple more holes 🤪). But that question totally caught me off guard because I realized in that moment that I did! I love working outside! Does that make me official old lady status??? No offense ladies🤣 As I did a deep dive reflection on that, I began to recognize that being outside, with my hands toiling in the soil, gives me such a sense of peace in the chaos of life. It’s the only place that I feel like I can completely relax my mind, and just be. Plus there’s such a satisfaction that comes when all that hard work pays off. So if you were like me five years ago… Just wait your time is coming!
