It is so basic that I have used this set up for six or seven years and it does not fail me. I like paper and pen because it commits things to my memory and helps me stay organized. I also can plan ahead and I'm not caught off guard. The erasable pens are a godsend because life is never permanent. This is a larger planner. If I have to schedule an appointment and don't have this in my big bag with me. I just make an appointment and call back if I need to reschedule. I also asked to reschedule when I get home.
