If you like the boot makeover you’ll love this simple makeover too. I had this sofa table made for the back of our sofa with the idea in mind that the kids could eat there during movies, etc. The challenge was that because it was so thick (a repurposed beam) and counter height stool wouldn’t give us the clearance needed to sit with legs under the table. If a counter stool wasn’t gonna work, my next option was a tall ottoman. I searched high and low for the right dimensions with zero luck. Then it dawned on me if I could find a square ottoman I liked WITH a sturdy wood base I could add any legs I wanted to the ottoman to make it the correct height for the table. I was lucky enough to find an ottoman at @target that matched the colors of our living room perfect. And then I found the perfect round legs on @etsy that literally match our table perfectly. Sound too good to be true? It was. PJ had to drive me and the kids to (3), yes (3), different targets to purchase the stools because they were out of stock everywhere. This semi-custom DIY took about 20 minutes. LTKsalealert LTKstyletip LTKhome
