From overflowing and stuffed to the max to organized and decluttered in one day, plus had to make it a little prettier. I used all extra bins I had from the last time I decluttered another room. I purchased the two plastic bins from @target and some presentation boards to finish the shelves for a closet makeover totaling about $33. I used leftover contact paper I had from a previous project. I love the change, and got rid of a lot of old linens to donate in the process!

1998 called…and I eagerly answered! Seriously, slipping into some midrise flares and these clogs brought me right back to chemistry class and Jansport backpacks. I was thrilled to find these throwbacks at American eagle! I also LOVE that they carry short sizes so my flares aren’t dragging like they used to!

So happy with our mini work area in our family room! We wanted a space where the kids could do their writing/letter practice and homework, and a place where we could safely set our laptops when we work downstairs! We started a “chill out corner” as an alternative to time out four days ago and I’m actually shocked at how well it is working! We have squishies, a glitter swirl tube, a soft bed rest, cozy blanket, and some amazing books. We picked What Should Danny Do? What Should Danny Do? is great because it’s like a choose your own adventure. We’ve also started asking them, “What should you do right now?” and it’s helped us better understand their decisions! Toddlers and little kids have big emotions and we’re just trying to help them navigate in a healthy way! They were both in the corner last night snuggling and “chilling”, self imposed!

My first order from the Nordstrom sale came today, and these pajamas are absolutely so comfortable I want to live in them! I’m in a medium but they’re supposed to be cropped so I’d probably go with a small in the future (5 feet tall here!) I also picked up this giant floor mirror on a great sale from Kirkland’s. It’s such an upgrade from our smaller one and it was such a great deal! Fingers crossed it stays fingerprint free for more than one day!

Just cause school is starting soon doesn’t mean the beachwear has to go away! This coverup is my absolute favorite. Throwing it back to a little end of summer vacay to Vegas last year. Some coverups aren’t “covered up” enough to wear around, but I was completely comfortable wearing this through the casino and didn’t feel too exposed! It’s also super lightweight and takes up hardly any space in my carry on! This board and batten was different from what I usually do but really great for a budget project! I actually used deck furring strips to cut down on the depth and it turned out great!
