• Always Effortless jacket size 2. My favorite water resistant athleisure : workout jacket with a hood that stows away into a snap compartment at the collar! Zipper pockets on the outside and large pockets inside.

• All it Takes Ribbed Nulu Long Sleeve Shirt size 2. Slightly cropped, fitted.

• Wunder Train High Rise leggings with pockets 23” in size 2 - 23” is sold out in this color, but petites can do 25” (linked) and get them hemmed for free in store if needed. These have compression, generous pockets and 3 length options I’m a little under 5 feet tall and the 23” inseam length stretches when you put it on and hits above my ankle.

• trying on Aritzia Super Puff original length in rich mocha brown xxs - comes in several lengths and many colors!

This is a mid length so there is also shorter and longer.

Fit: this is original. they have original or Snug. Snug xxs is fitted on me and runs slim in the arms too.

If you like chunky layers and looser silhouettes underneath, then their more popular option is the original super puff which has more room to layer in the torso and sleeves.

Material is a lightweight down fill with a wind and water resistant outer, and is machine washable

• Levi’s Ribcage jeans in “in the middle” wash 24x27 - these are an extra high rise, straight leg floor length on me. Soft, comfortable, stretchy, and have a zipper fly.

60% off this high quality thicker weight cotton lady jacket cardigan. Sadly another jcrew timeless piece that they’re phasing out.

My friend who is 5 ft tall usually size women’s xxs / xs petite was wearing a kids Large (10-11) in my Instagram stories. She said she could’ve also done XL for a looser fit and folded the sleeves up.

Nori is wearing kids size Small (6 - 7) with sleeves folded up. She wore this a lot as a fall jacket and now as a middle layer for winter, and it has held up well.

Since this cardigan is 100% cotton it will shrink if you machine dry it on high so I suggest air drying unless you’re intentionally trying to shrink it!

• nori also adores this metallic skirt. Runs a little big at waist so sized down to 5. it’s zipper closure and not pull on elastic.

I sized up to 0 Petite (snug fit on me) which was also my size in their Cameron pants, if you’re familiar with that older cut. Material is high quality with stretch and a substantial weight to it, plus they’re very flattering at all angles.

• 50% off Petite Daphne topcoat in boiled wool navy size 00 petite. this is a textured wool coat that is a J. Crew classic.

Note that the torso is unlined with sleeves that are lined, and that in general J. Crew petite coat sleeve lengths run on the shorter side.

The 00P is a slim fit on me while the 00 regular also works on me but the 00 regular is about 1.5 inches longer in the total length and sleeve length with a slightly roomier fit.

This is a west coast winter or New England Fall weight coat, not as thick weight as the other coats I’ve been reviewing.

comfy, well cushioned and with arch support. Slim stretchy shaft with zipper fits easily under pants.

Gentle Souls booties have several different style names and they pretty much all fit & feel the same and look super similar except for the heel shape. I own the Emily and Ebert in different colors (black, chocolate, beige)

• Aritzia slouch coat - Trying on xxs Short in Burnt Cedar. Aritzia makes 2 coat styles in petite! They call it “Short,” but the entire garment is adjusted for shorter proportions

I have on XXS Short in the Slouch Coat (Re) camel Wool and it’s a generous, roomy fit with plenty of room to layer a sweater underneath. Some reviews suggested sizing down. Coat is very nice quality and truly a plush, thick, warmer coat but doesn’t feel heavy. There is an internal lining between the layers that adds extra insulation without heaviness.

• Tuckernuck Baroque Floral Maria dress 0 - fits a little loose on me at the bodice including the bust cups and the waist but comparable to xxs / xs.

The custom baroque dark floral outer fabric is unique and beautiful, gas has a little sheen to it and it’s fully lined. Large smocked back panel for stretch at the chest and waist, stretch straps as well.

Corset style bustier cups on the size 0 is slightly big on me. The 0 waist measures 12.7” across when lying flat and it does stretch from there.

FYI if you’re petite, I LOVE their shrunken sweatshirt cashmere sweater (linked under similar) that is a little more petite friendly with a shorter length and banded bottom. Worth spending more to get the shrunken style. They didn’t used to make brown in the shrunken fit, so that’s why I have the other style!

• Aritzia Twirl pleated skirt xxs. The wide waistband is elastic and very stretchy. The pleats are very airy and floaty with a full lining

• J.Crew Berkeley bucket bag, burgundy. the outer of this bag is half suede and half leather and very slouchy

Trying on this cream boiled wool textured (almost like a boucle) blazer coat in a 00.

It’s called a blazer but has the structure and the thicker weight of a fall jacket, and I like how it looked with jeans and slim pants!

Regular size 00 fits a little big on me and a tad long at the sleeves.

• J. Crew slim wide jeans 24 P - J. Crew jeans run about a half size big for me but I don't mind a little extra room at the waist these days. These are one of J. Crew's best cut petite jeans!

Trying on xxs Short in Burnt Cedar

Aritzia makes 2 coat styles in petite! They call it “Short,” but the entire garment is adjusted for shorter proportions like American Petite sizing, including the coat length, overall fit and the sleeve length. The two styles are:

1.) Slouch coat in (Re) camel Wool, Slouch coat in Wool Cashmere (may be thinner weight than the Recamel Wool one)

2.) New Stedman Coat

The Slouch coat runs very oversized while the Stedman is a little more slim fit.

I have on XXS Short in the Slouch Coat (Re) camel Wool and it’s a generous, roomy fit with plenty of room to layer a sweater underneath. Some reviews suggested sizing down.

Coat is very nice quality and truly a plush, thick, warmer coat but doesn’t feel heavy. There is an internal lining between the layers that adds extra insulation without heaviness.

• Levi’s Wedgie Straight jeans in 24 x 26, “space to think” wash which is a grainy medium blue

• Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole suede ankle bootie 5.5. I walk miles in these! Runs a little narrow so I sized up to my bigger half size. comfy, well cushioned and with arch support. Slim stretchy shaft with zipper is comfortable and easy to fit under pants and jeans leg openings.

Finally had a chance to try on this gorgeous Aritzia tailored coat! fYi this is one size bigger than my usual aritzia size since that’s all they had in store

• Aritzia Ortilia wool cashmere coat in “Saville” color - trying on xs which is a little big on me and sleeves were long. my usual xxs is available online!

This is a uniquely designed and warm midi length coat with a plush, thicker fabric . The shawl style collar has buttons and can be worn flipped up or down, and there is a row of hidden inner buttons to help the wrap style coat be secured underneath the sash tie.
