Look 3:
• Tuckernuck Baroque Floral Maria dress 0 - fits a little loose on me at the bodice including the bust cups and the waist but comparable to xxs / xs.

The custom baroque dark floral outer fabric is unique and beautiful, gas has a little sheen to it and it’s fully lined. Large smocked back panel for stretch at the chest and waist, stretch straps as well.

Corset style bustier cups on the size 0 is slightly big on me. The 0 waist measures 12.7” across when lying flat and it does stretch from there.

Finally trying this new style of J. Crew work pants and it’s so good! Material is high quality with stretch and a substantial weight to it, plus they’re very flattering at all angles.

• J. Crew petite cropped Natalia pants in four season stretch 0P - these run small IMO. I sized up to 0 Petite (snug fit on me) which was also my size in their Cameron pants, if you’re familiar with that older cut. A styling idea for a holiday work event can be with a feminine blouse and some metallic heels.

• J. Crew ruffle button up shirt in crinkle chiffon 00 - flowy and lightweight chiffon outer shirt that comes with a camisole that snaps in at the shoulders to stay in place. This also comes in leopard print for a very chic and on-trend look.

• J. Crew Colette bow kitten heel pumps in gold size 5.5 . I’m usually between a 5 and 5.5 and found the bigger half size to fit more comfortable in these.

Trying on xxs Short in Burnt Cedar

Aritzia makes 2 coat styles in petite! They call it “Short,” but the entire garment is adjusted for shorter proportions like American Petite sizing, including the coat length, overall fit and the sleeve length. The two styles are:

1.) Slouch coat in (Re) camel Wool, Slouch coat in Wool Cashmere (may be thinner weight than the Recamel Wool one)

2.) New Stedman Coat

The Slouch coat runs very oversized while the Stedman is a little more slim fit.

I have on XXS Short in the Slouch Coat (Re) camel Wool and it’s a generous, roomy fit with plenty of room to layer a sweater underneath. Some reviews suggested sizing down.

Coat is very nice quality and truly a plush, thick, warmer coat but doesn’t feel heavy. There is an internal lining between the layers that adds extra insulation without heaviness.

• Aritzia Ortilia wool cashmere coat in “Saville” color - trying on xs which is a little big on me and sleeves were long. my usual xxs is available online!

This is a uniquely designed and warm midi length coat with a plush, thicker fabric . The shawl style collar has buttons and can be worn flipped up or down, and there is a row of hidden inner buttons to help the wrap style coat be secured underneath the sash tie.

Elegant coats for fall / winter. Linked my exact first one, and other options in petite friendly sizing.

Outfit 1:
• Aritzia drape coat size xxs - Comes in other beautiful neutral colors like charcoal gray and camel.

Double faced (unlined) taupe wool wrap style coat with a long midi length. I’m 5 feet tall for reference, see on me in another post with jeans and flats .

Collar is an oversized wider statement collar with drape to it.

Since it’s unlined and double faced, there is beautiful movement. Fall weight or west coast winter weight. Not an east coast winter coat.

• Madewell cream thin turtleneck xxs, great layering staple , mine is an older version of the same top

• Aritzia crepe drape effortless pants 0 short, but their newer shorter inseam is best on my 5’ tall height

Outfit 2:
• Camel coat is an old Uniqlo version but linked a very similar one from Mango in color and fit - I take xxs in mango

• old Levi’s jeans, their current wedgie in “space to think” is a grainy medium blue wash and most similar. I usually wear 24 x 26 length which is petite friendly

Buy 2, get 30% off Levi’s sale includes my favorite wedgie straight and ribcage styles! The wedgie is probably the most rear-end flattering jeans I own.

• Levi’s wedgie straight jeans in “space to think” which is a grainy medium blue wash. These are TTS and my usual size is 24 x 26. Since my weight has been fluctuating I ordered a size up (pictured is 25 x 26) for more room at my waist and thighs.

Also recommend:
• “fully baked light wash”
• “well worn black” (actually a versatile charcoal gray)
• “Indifferent indigo - dark”

Cut is slim straight, slightly tapered ankle fit. High rise but not as high as their Ribcage. The denim has a more rigid vintage feel to it, minimal stretch which is typical of most Levi’s.

* Aritzia top XXS, runs big and oversized In style. Like a sweater-sweatshirt combo that you can wear boatneck or off one shoulder.

• Madewell Justine ankle booties 5. Pretty comfortable for the heel height with slim stretch ankle. Fits great under even slimmer jeans

I received one as a gift from a thoughtful friend when I was expecting. The dress is smocked so happens to be pregnancy, friendly nursing friendly, and has pockets.

Their crepe fabrics are a nice alternative to their usual cotton, with a little more fluid drape . Just FyI Some of the white or lighter cotton prints can be sheer.
