• length: they have short, Mid, and Long. I am 5 feet tall and mid hits me as shown, as a nice versatile length.

• fit: they have original or Snug. Snug is fitted on me and slim in the arms too.

If you like chunky layers and looser silhouettes underneath, then their more popular option is the original super puff which is less fitted in the torso and sleeves.

• material: Material is a lightweight down fill with a wind and water resistant outer, and is machine washable

• this is the Mid length snug puffer coat in modern taupe xxs.

Size 00P measures 13.75” across waist, 10.5” rise, 27” inseam. I would usually need a low heel with 27” long pants, but when I belt these, I can wear them with flats or sneakers without hems dragging

Black Friday: Only time of the year the popular jcrew cashmere pieces go on sale! Linked the 3 that I have now on sale.

Also 50 to 60% off J. Crew petite winter coats:

• J. Crew brushed cashmere shrunken crewneck sweater in leopard print XS. These run a little small so I sized up for a relaxed fit. This brushed cashmere is Soo soft cozy and luxe!

• Petite Daphne topcoat in boiled wool navy size 00 petite. this is a textured wool coat that is a J. Crew classic.

Note that the torso is un-lined with sleeves that are lined, and that in general J. Crew petite coat sleeve lengths run on the shorter side.

The 00P is a slim fit on me while the 00 regular also works on me but the 00 regular is about 1.5 inches longer in the total length and sleeve length with a slightly roomier fit.

This is a California level winter or New England Fall weight coat, not as thick weight as the other coats I’ve been reviewing.

• J. Crew slim wide jeans 24 petite in dark blue resin rinse- these are some of my most flattering jeans. Slightly wide straight cut, works with flats or heels or booties for me.

• Colette bow pumps size 5.5. In usually between 5 and 5.5 and found the latter to fit better. Comfortable for a heel and well made.

Trying on the Aritzia Connor wrap coat, one of their classics that come back each year. So many good neutral colors, and 20% off for Black Friday!

This is the shorter version, and I’m trying on xxs which is slim fit and flattering on me with sleeves a tad long. It also comes in a longer length which I personally like since I prefer midi lengths For fabric choices, there is melton or virgin wool which is thinner and more slim fit looking , and also wool cashmere which is thicker, and seems a little warmer with a slightly more plush hand feel All 3 of the different wool material options are linked!

• J. Crew slim wide jeans 24P - J. Crew jeans run about a half size big for me but I don’t mind a little extra room at the waist these days. These are one of J. Crew’s best cut petite jeans! Love them with flats, heels, or boots.

I got these gentle souls boots in black last year and loved them so much, I hunted down dark brown and taupe as well as my city walking boots.

Size up if between sizes. I’m usually a 5 to 5.5 and went up to 5.5 since the front toe felt a little narrow.

These have a cushioned insole, flexible rubber outsole, and a slim stretchy ankle shaft that works perfectly tucked under jeans and pants or with tights.

Note: this boot comes out in new iterations each year with a different style name, but I’ve found them to all be extremely similar. My 3 pairs all have a different style name (ie the Ella boot) but looks and feel nearly the same

, note that this same coat in Wool Cashmere may be thinner weight than the Recamel Wool one.

I have on XXS Short in the Slouch Coat (Re) camel Wool and it’s a generous, roomy fit with plenty of room to layer a sweater underneath. Some reviews suggested sizing down if between sizes.

Slouch coat in re(camel) is very nice quality and truly a plush, thick, warmer coat but doesn’t feel heavy. There is an internal lining between the layers that adds extra insulation without heaviness.

The custom baroque dark floral outer fabric has a little sheen to it and it’s fully lined. Large smocked back panel for stretch at the chest and waist, stretch straps as well. Corset style bustier cups on xxs would probably ideally fit a B-C cup.

The xxs waist measures 12.7” across when lying flat and it does stretch from there

Levi’s 40% off Black Friday sale starts today! Includes some of my absolute favorite styles - the wedgie is probably the most rear- flattering jeans I own.

Boots also 40% off in black leather

• Levi’s wedgie straight jeans in “space to think” which is a grainy medium blue wash. These are TTS and my usual size is 24 x 26. Since my weight has been fluctuating I ordered a size up (pictured is 25 x 26) for more room at my waist and thighs.

Other washes I recommend:
• “fully baked light wash”
• “well worn black” (actually a versatile charcoal gray)
• “Indifferent indigo - dark”

Cut is slim straight, slightly tapered ankle fit. High rise but not as high as their Ribcage. The denim has a more rigid vintage feel to it, minimal stretch which is typical of most Levi’s.

• Vintage Sunday shorts in oatmeal xs (I have had these for a while - very comfy, I just sized up for waist)

Look 1:
• Long Sleeve Slash Mesh Top xxs - worn with black bra but wear cami instead for more modest coverage!

• Harper Tailored Premium Crepe Ultra-Wide Leg Pant in black 24 short

Look 2:
• Collared Cardigan in Taupe xxs - looser fit with sleeves cuffed up.

• Wool-blend Tailored Topcoat in brown herringbone xxs petite - TTS, thicker warm weight with a full lining and straighter cut fit with room to layer sweaters under.

• Scarlett Mini Skort in light taupe xxs
- FYI the cream color shows wrinkles more so I would recommend a darker color

• Amazon slim calf boots

Look 3:
• Sequin Straight Neck Midi Dress in black xxs petite - some reviews mention that it’s loose, but it’s pretty fitted on me with adjustable straps.

Look 4:
•Long sleeved velvet asymmetrical draped top xxs - slim fit, sleeves are long (I folded under) I wore a regular bra and tucked one strap in, but a strapless or convertible bra would work well

•Sloane wide leg trousers 24 short - works well for me (5ft) with a mid heel

Appearance # 5:
• Nori is obsessed with this sequins separate set! She is age 6 and in between AF kid sizes. I was afraid 7/8 would be too big so I got 5/6 which fits a tad small on her in the shirt length and pants length, so I suggest sizing up on the sequin top+ pants if in between sizes. Faux fur coat is size 7/8 and I folded her sleeves under

Both pieces are lined and she hasn’t complained about any itchiness.

Gift for him idea: I got Nick this set for his early birthday and it’s barely left his body the past week! He usually wears them as separates mixed and matched, but also easy to wear as a set.

Good quality soft modal hoodie with hidden pockets + cargo pants , would recommend as a gift for men

• lululemon Smooth Spacer Classic-Fit Pullover Hoodie - S, relaxed fit, size down if between sizes. Nick is usually S or M in lululemon

Color is blackened pine. He also liked navy or Nomad

• Smooth Spacer Classic-Fit Cargo Pant - S, relaxed fit. Nick wanted more “updated” relaxed cargo joggers to match Rio’s H&M ones

If in between sizes, size down for a slimmer fit or up for a baggier fit. Only one length available but these were hemmed for free - we bought online and then brought into store for hemming.

Nick is usually S or M in lululemon pants as well

For different inseams that you don’t need to hem, these pants come in a similar cuffed jogger version in Short and Tall too!
